Infographic :What are the Biggest Fast Food Chains in America

I come from Belgium [Europe] and I am living in the U.S for 7 years. Belgium is like a paradise for great food, beers and chocolate. People really appreciate good restaurants.

Before starting at Microsoft, 12 years ago, I have worked more than a decade in Food Industry [Unilever], as product/brand manager and then marketing director, developing products, solutions and campaign for consumers and then for food service industry [restaurants, chains, hotels].

This is an amazing industry for marketeers to learn, as you need to understand what the consumer wants and how to reach their needs thru the right products and brand positioning. This industry leaves a lot of room for local / regional product development, which is great for marketeers, as the consumer had different consumer habit / expectation / need by country and this is a true statement for Food.

I have been also surprised how Fast food is a supersized business in America. The average American spends as much as $1,200 every year on fast food — and roughly a quarter of the U.S. population eats three or more fast food meals per week.

Today, I am sharing the following unique infographic, via TitleMax, that shows how dominant the quick serve food industry is, and which brands are leading the pack in terms of revenue and store locations.

Let me knowwhat are your though regarding this huge presence of Fast Food in the U.S
