Attending eMerge Americas 2025 last week was an inspiring experience. Held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, this premier tech conference brought together over 20,000 attendees and some of the brightest minds in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. While the event was packed with groundbreaking ideas, one individual stood out to me: Mark Bernard, the visionary CEO and Founder of GeN3 Media Inc.
Mark’s work is a testament to how creativity and technology can merge to redefine traditional industries. His innovative approach to multimedia publishing and events is shaping the future of Web3 storytelling, and I’m excited to share what I learned about his incredible work.
GeN3 Media: Where Print Meets Web3
Mark Bernard’s company, GeN3 Media Inc., is pioneering a new era of multimedia publishing by blending traditional print with cutting-edge technologies like augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain. Here’s what makes GeN3 Media so unique:
1️⃣ AR-Enhanced Print
GeN3 Magazine isn’t your typical publication. It uses augmented reality to bring static print pages to life. Imagine scanning a magazine page with your phone and instantly accessing videos, 3D models, or live streams—an immersive experience that bridges the physical and digital worlds.
2️⃣ GeN3 Lounge Events
Mark has also created the GeN3 Lounge, a monthly event in Miami that fosters collaboration among Web3 creators, blockchain developers, AI enthusiasts, artists, designers, and investors. These gatherings are hubs for innovation, driving Miami’s rise as a global digital innovation center.
3️⃣ GeN3 Creative Studio
The studio specializes in crafting marketing campaigns using AR, AI, and Extended Reality (XR) technologies. By catering to Web3 brands and lifestyle companies, GeN3 Creative Studio delivers dynamic content that resonates with modern audiences.
A Personal Highlight: The Power of AR Flyers
During eMerge Americas, I had the chance to film a short demo with Mark showcasing GeN3 Magazine’s AR capabilities. In just 30 seconds, Mark explained how they can activate any image in print to display live updates, holograms, or even live streams directly from the magazine!
Here’s what Mark shared during the demo:
“We can activate any image, do 3D modeling, update anything after print—even live stream from a stage! This summer, we’re launching GeN3 Miami Magazine with events in Design District, Wynwood, Downtown, and Brickell.”
You can watch this short video below (apologies for the phone quality—I just had to capture this moment!). It’s a glimpse into how Mark is redefining what’s possible with print media.
Why This Matters: Creativity Meets Resilience
Mark’s work reminds me of an important lesson: resilience isn’t just about surviving adversity—it’s about using creativity to transform challenges into opportunities. In a world where many have declared print media “dead,” Mark has proven otherwise by integrating it seamlessly with Web3 technologies.
His vision aligns perfectly with Miami’s growing reputation as a global tech hub. By fostering collaboration through events like the GeN3 Lounge and pushing boundaries with AR-enhanced print media, Mark is helping shape the future of storytelling in both digital and physical spaces.
Thank You, Mark!
I want to take a moment to thank Mark Bernard for sharing his vision and creativity at eMerge Americas 2025. Your work is not only inspiring but also a powerful example of how technology can breathe new life into traditional mediums like print.
