83 percent of young people sleep next to their cell phones [infographic], via @davidmerzel’s BLOG


Great infographic !

From the moment they wake up to the moment they go to bed, young people are constantly connected to their electronics, syncing their tablets and smartphones with all the latest updates. 

According to this infographic, titled “A Day in the Digital Life,” 35 percent of smartphone users boot up their apps before booting themselves from bed, and 83 percent of young people sleep within reach of their trusty devices.

    I think it’s very dangerous to put your phone next to you while you are sleeping. Especially, if you have put your phone on charge and it is lying next to you. Not to long ago, I heard a story of a guy dying on the couch because he had put the phone on charge and then went to sleep with his headset in the pocket.
