AI Revolutionizing CPG and Retail

In recent years, Generative AI has emerged as a game-changing technology across various industries, and its impact on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Retail sectors is particularly profound. This transformative technology is reshaping how businesses run, interact with customers, and innovate their products and services.

My Personal Journey

I am deeply passionate about how AI can impact Retail and CPG. With over 10 years of experience at Unilever (CPG) and 17 years at Microsoft (Consumer Electronics, Gaming), focusing on Retail, Distribution, and Mobile Operator sectors, I have saw firsthand the transformative potential of technology. Alongside my professional journey, I have pursued analytics and coding in Power BI (DAX for the expert) as a hobby. This blend of strong business experience and a keen interest in analytics fuels my commitment to exploring AI’s potential. I feel a responsibility to help sales and marketing organizations understand how AI can positively impact them, always keeping ethical and security aspects in mind. Through this blog, I aim to share weekly updates on AI’s impact on business, providing pragmatic and useful insights for business owners and decision-makers.

In light of this, I’ve recently launched my consulting firm, MD Consulting, specializing in sales, marketing, and AI strategy.  I invite you to explore how AI can enhance your business. Feel free to schedule a conversation in my calendar below. Additionally, connect with me on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidmerzel/ or via email at david.merzel@hotmail.com. I’d be delighted to discuss further!
